Her knowledge of the breed is exceptional, and it’s immediately clear that she genuinely cares about matching the right puppy with the right home, rather than simply placing dogs.

We contacted a few breeders, and then we came across Listerlo Vizslas via champ dogs. After seeing pictures and speaking with the breeder there was no going back. After being vetted, we went on the waiting list and 6 months later our pup was born. We met Mum, Dad and Gran of our future dog. Which, was important for us to ensure we got a dog with a good temperament and good health scores. With an extra bonus coming from a house with children.
Emily has supported us since bringing her home, which we have been forever grateful for, and when we went on holiday we fully trusted her with our dog. The life time support is real, any worries or concerns she would respond.
Emily picked the right pup for our household, and she has changed our world.

Following a lengthy discussion on the phone with Emily I was invited to visit the family. So wonderful to be able to meet Grandma, mum, dad and Wilma, sister from a previous litter.
When I collected Milo at 8 weeks he was a confident, loving boy and it was obvious how much time and love had been invested into the puppies.
They had had the best start and we were given written papers on their routine, food and so much helpful information to help us settle them into our homes.
At 10 months I am so proud of what a wonderful dog we have. He is handsome, loving and kind. Milo is laid back around the house but a proper hunter when out and about in the field.
3 months ago my 90 year old mum, not very steady on her feet, came to live with us and Milo has been just amazing with her. He is calm around her and sensitive but most of all he makes her laugh every day as he is full of character and has a fabulous temperament.
I feel so fortunate that we found Listerlo Vizslas.

From our very first conversation with Em, we knew we’d found someone special. Having sadly lost our first Hungarian Vizsla, the decision to welcome another into our family was a big one. I still remember sitting in our garden, chatting to Em on the phone for well over an hour about Vizslas, family life and the possibility of a new puppy.
Two weeks later, we made a 600-mile round trip to meet Em, her wonderful pack of Vizslas and the new litter. It was absolutely worth every mile!
Fast forward 19 months, and Margo (aka Margie, Margs) is everything we could have wished for and more. She’s beautiful, intelligent, affectionate, wonderfully sociable and obedient (most of the time!), with just the right amount of Vizsla mischief! She’s quite the local celebrity, known by seemingly everyone where we live, and brings so much laughter, love and happiness into our home.
What really stood out to us was Em’s genuine love for her dogs, her knowledge of the breed and the care she puts into raising her puppies. Margo is an absolute credit to her.
We couldn’t imagine our family without Margo and will always be grateful to Em for bringing such a wonderful character into our lives.

Emily has been wonderful from day one - even before the puppies were born! She came over with their pregnant mum to help convince my husband that we needed a Vizsla puppy, and we’re so glad she did.
We visited our puppy a couple of times before bringing him home. When he arrived, he was already such a content little dog with beautiful manners. He has been brilliant with our other two dogs, our cats, our three children and even our tortoise!
Emily gave us clear, straightforward recommendations for training him, and honestly, following her advice made the whole process so easy. He is the cleverest dog I’ve ever met and beautifully behaved in every situation. At just six months old, he travelled across Europe with us by car and took it all in his stride.
His health has been superb, too. Even a year and a half later, I know I can contact Emily anytime for guidance and reassurance. The care she puts into her puppies, and the support she gives their families long after they leave, really shines through. We couldn’t recommend her more highly.

I have been involved with the Listerlo Crew for some time, Emily and I are close friends, and I have loved watching the family grow. I knew the day would come when a ginger chum would infiltrate my world. Enter Tiger!
From start to finish, it’s been an absolute joy. Having a dog from Emily has been such a special experience, and I couldn’t be happier with my ginger boy. Tiger is everything I could have hoped for and more, with all the wonderful qualities that make Vizslas such a special breed. He has the most fantastic temperament, a wonderful character, and, of course, that classic Vizsla charm that gets under your skin before you even realise it!
What really stands out is the care, thought and dedication Emily puts into her dogs. It’s clear how much love goes into raising her puppies and giving them the very best start in life. That foundation makes such a difference, and it’s been a real privilege to welcome Tiger into my world.
Emily’s support has been just as special as the dog himself. Knowing she is always there for advice, reassurance or simply to share in the highs and hilarity of life with a Vizsla is invaluable. You never feel as though the support stops when your puppy leaves for their new home, and that says everything about Emily and the commitment she has to her dogs and their families.
Tiger has brought so much joy, laughter and a healthy dose of ginger chaos into my life, and I honestly wouldn’t have it any other way. I couldn’t recommend Emily and the Listerlo Crew more highly to anyone looking for a beautifully bred, well-raised Vizsla and the support of someone who genuinely cares about where her puppies end up.

We were so delighted with our first boy, Firecrest (Bailey), that two years later we could not resist welcoming his brother, Lightning McQueen (Frank), into our family too!
What a joy they are, and how lovely to see their different personalities shine through. They are the best of friends and share such a special bond. Bailey is patient, thoughtful and loving, while Frank is our boisterous, bonkers boy, equally full of love and wonderfully obedient (his love of food certainly helps with training!).
Both boys are in fantastic health at 6 and 4 years old, and we are so grateful to Emily for giving them such a wonderful start in life. As the years have passed, we have come to appreciate even more the care and thought she puts into breeding her puppies and finding them the right homes.
It is reassuring to know that Emily is at the end of the phone should we ever need advice. Her knowledge of the breed and genuine care for her puppies and their families are what make her so special.
We feel incredibly lucky to have found Emily and to have these two wonderful boys in our lives. They bring us so much love, laughter and the occasional bit of chaos, and we would not have it any other way!

Finding Listerlo Vizslas was the best thing ever! We met all the dogs and could immediately tell how great they were. Emily kept us up to date when the puppies were born and we went to visit before finding out which one would be ours. Moose is amazing, and a lot of that is down to the breeding and those initial weeks. He comes everywhere with us, from lots of beach trips and forest walks, to hiking in Switzerland and paddleboarding in France. He is the most affectionate, loving and happiest dog and we can’t imagine our lives without him! I would always recommend Listerlo Vizslas to anyone wanting to get a Vizsla!

I found Listerlo Vizslas through Champs Dogs and after a warm initial call with Emily to talk about all things Vizslas, I knew they were the breeders for me. I felt incredibly reassured that the puppies were reared in a loving family environment and went off to their new home already comfortable with other family dogs, cats and children. I felt very supported by Emily throughout the process of getting my pup and was delighted to welcome her into her forever home in Apr 24.
